We created our Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment program after hearing the same quiet confession over and over: "No one ever taught me how money really works." Many of us learned to hustle, to stretch a paycheck, to make it work somehow-but not how to build a plan. This program changes that, one clear conversation at a time.

Together, we unpack money in everyday language. You will learn how to build a budget that reflects real life-rent, gas, kids' needs, and that unexpected bill that always seems to pop up. We look at where your money is going now, then identify small shifts that can free up cash for savings, debt reduction, or long‑term goals. Instead of shaming past decisions, we focus on what is possible from today forward.

We also shine a light on credit-what builds it up, what tears it down, and how to read your own report without fear. Participants often tell us that simply understanding credit removes years of anxiety. From there, we explore saving strategies, banking options, and the difference between "good" and "bad" debt in practical terms, not textbook theory.
